Nervous, Endocrine, & Special Senses Systems (NESP)

Description
This course is designed as a cross-reference guide focusing only on the most relevant topics. DOWI's goal is to connect the 'dots' of learning that will help you achieve your goals in understanding the topic.

The nervous system is the part of an animal that coordinates its actions by transmitting signals to and from different parts of its body. The nervous system detects environmental changes that impact the body, then works in tandem with the endocrine system. Also, the endocrine system is a chemical messenger system consisting of hormones, the group of glands of an organism that carry those hormones directly into the circulatory system to be carried towards distant target organs, and the feedback loops of homeostasis that the hormones drive.
